Finger Lakes and the Proposed Truck Ban

According to New York Motor Truck Association's Executive director - Kendra Adams, the New York State Department of Transportation would no longer pursue the restriction and the potential ban on heavy trucks on some routes around Finger Lakes.~~

NYSDOT study has found out that the ban wouldn't be a good idea, because the truck traffic would shifted from certain communities into other areas. The American Trucking Association said that most truck traffic in the area is local, and if the ban pursues, truck would go to other local routes that the Interstate system.
