A new security procedure at the Vancouver International Airport had caused delays to several flights and a long line ups. ~~

The new system requires the baggage of the passengers from Vancouver to U.S., to first be scanned at an X-ray station before going through customs.

According to an airport official, the new procedures would eventually make the processing faster.
